"I recently had the distinct pleasure of working with Meaghan to sell my father's house. After my mom passed and my Dad went into a nursing home, our family tried to look after the house as best as we could until we could get it ready for sale. Then along came COVID, which made it extremely difficult for me to even be able to come to Saskatoon (I live in the U.S.). I decided to hire a professional organizer to help clean out the house, and she (thankfully!) referred me to Meaghan. I first met with Meaghan in the fall of 2020 to begin discussing how to prepare the house for sale, including what repairs or improvements to do (or not), and when to best put the house on the market. Because of my own limitations in getting out there (and all the ever-changing COVID restrictions), we decided to wait until spring of 2021 to list the house. During that time, Meaghan was in touch with me regularly, and she hired someone to do a few repairs and improvements that we agreed on (e.g., fixing light fixtures; renovation of downstairs bathroom). Her advice on all this was invaluable, as was her on-site and on-hands involvement in making sure everything got done right! Between the fall of 2020 and spring of 2021, she also worked on preparing the listing and getting everything ready for sale. Although I was 2700 miles away, Meaghan took on the responsibility of making sure everything would be ready for a spring listing. And that is exactly what happened. When the house eventually listed, we received multiple offers in a very short period of time, and we accepted an offer substantially above the listing price.
